Job summary

A local sports team in Ottawa is looking for a part-time Zamboni Driver to maintain ice surfaces at the Richcraft Sensplex. Responsibilities include operating the Zamboni, ensuring ice pads are resurfaced according to standards, and conducting minor repairs. The ideal candidate should be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and be physically capable of heavy lifting. Bilingual skills in French and English are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be physically able to do heavy lifting (50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive the Zamboni and other equipment.
• Ensure ice pads are resurfaced according to facility standards.
• Complete minor repairs on ice surface and equipment.

Skills

Experience driving an ice resurfacer

Bilingual preferred (French & English)

Knowledge of occupational hazards
