Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is required.
• Experience operating a Zamboni or municipal equipment is an asset.
• Ability to perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to learn equipment operation and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Recreation and rink operations: operate the Zamboni and maintain ice quality.
• Clean and upkeep rink facilities, assist with events and activities.
• Monitor facility conditions and report safety concerns.
• Public Works operations: assist winter snow-removal using municipal equipment.
• Support street maintenance, grounds work and general municipal projects.
• Respond to changing weather and seasonal priorities.
