Job summary

Oxford Learning Leaside in Toronto is seeking a part-time Math & Science Teacher/Tutor to support students after school. You will teach up to three students at different levels, online and in-person, following Oxford Learning methodologies, and complete post-lesson notes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Enrollment in fourth year university with tutoring experience considered.
• Teaching certification is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum, including Calculus, Trigonometry, and Vectors; Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Teaching online and in-person.
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Filling in post-lesson notes.
• Completing daily student communication updates.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
