J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI) is seeking a Human Resources Student to gain hands-on experience in recruitment while completing final year studies. The role is based in Saint John, NB, offering about 20 hours per week during the academic year.

You will manage the full recruitment cycle, partner with Hiring Managers, and support campus recruitment efforts within the Construction & Equipment Division. Applicants from co-op and non-co-op streams are welcome.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Entering final year and available to work ~20 hours per week during the academic year.
• Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with candidates and Hiring Managers.
• Exceptional attention to detail when managing candidate information and recruitment records.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• A proactive mindset focused on continuous learning and improvement.
