Job summary

AgeCare Parkhill is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean and safe long‑term care environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will perform daily cleaning tasks across dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and offices while handling floors with buffing machines and ensuring sanitary conditions throughout the residence.

The role requires prior housekeeping experience and a basic education.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Public-school education required.
• Ability to perform cleaning duties and assist residents respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Clean dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells and other areas as directed.
• Operate floor machines to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor and office floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment and arrange furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals and telephones daily.
