Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary Long-Term Care residence for residents, visitors and staff. The role performs a variety of housekeeping duties, including cleaning dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, offices, hallways and other areas as directed, plus floor care with mops, machines and polishing.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred and a minimum of public-school education is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, offices, hallways and other areas as directed.
• Operate a floor machine to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor and office floors.

• Arrange furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.

• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily. What You Will Need
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Salary: $22.80 per hour
