AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary long‑term care residence for residents and staff. The role supports a resident‑centered environment and contributes to a home‑like atmosphere that fosters dignity and wellbeing.

The position requires prior housekeeping experience and a minimum public‑school education; work involves cleaning diverse areas and ensuring high cleanliness standards in a supportive team setting. Canadian experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• A minimum of public-school education is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells and other areas as directed.
• Operates floor machines to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor and office floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals and telephones daily.
