Job summary

Rocky View Schools invites applications for a part-time Grade 5/6 Science teaching position at Banded Peak School in Bragg Creek. The role is approx. 0.5 FTE and starts immediately. Applicants must be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate and provide required references and background checks.

New graduates are welcome to apply with practicum reports. This role is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

• New/Recent Graduates: submit practicum report.

The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a part-time (approx. 0.5 FTE) Grade 5/6 Science teaching position starting immediately at Banded Peak School.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

• Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.


• New/Recent Graduates Only: In lieu of a reference letter, please submit your final practicum report.


• External applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months.
