Job summary

Rocky View Schools (RVS) is seeking a temporary full-time Elementary Generalist teacher for Elbow Valley Elementary School in Springbank, on Calgary's western edge. The assignment runs from September 28, 2026 to November 10, 2026, and serves Kindergarten through Grade 4 students in French Immersion and English programs.

Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. New graduates should submit their practicum report in lieu of a reference letter.

The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply fora temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Elementary Generalistteachingposition starting September 28, 2026 until November 10, 2026at Elbow Valley Elementary School.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

• Applicantsmust possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certificationwith Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
• New/Recent Graduates Only : In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.
