AgeCare Ltd. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Monashee Mews in Lumby, BC. This part-time, regular role (0.86 FTE) involves coordinating resident care and leading the health care team on shifts.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, is in good standing with the provincial registry, and has experience in geriatric or long-term care. The position offers a competitive wage with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Registration and good standing with provincial nursing registry.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood.
• Leads shift report with health care team, informing changes in residents' status.
• Records significant changes in residents' condition and ensures proper chart documentation.
• Reviews physician orders and ensures timely implementation per procedure.
• Communicates any difficulties in processing orders to the Director of Care/Assistant Director of Care.
