Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to act as the key communication contact between management, residents and families, and to contribute to patient care and safety at Monashee Mews in Lumby, BC. This casual role supports compassionate, skilled care for aging residents and adherence to care plans.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, deliver dementia care, monitor residents’ conditions, and promote well-being through excellent interpersonal skills. LPN registration required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the provincial College of Licensed Practical Nurses.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider.
• At least 1 year of experience in working with seniors.
• Demonstrated excellence in dementia care and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care and monitor residents’ conditions.
• Communicate with residents, families and management to coordinate care.
• Ensure safety and adherence to individualized care plans.

What You Will Need

• At least 1 years’ experience in working with seniors
