Job summary

RONA in Winnipeg is seeking a Part-Time Head Cashier for afternoon and evening shifts. You will supervise front-line teams, oversee register coverage and store supply usage, and ensure excellent customer service.

You will train new associates, handle refunds, and perform opening and closing procedures while promoting company programs. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of retail and supervisory experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in team supervision.
• Strong attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Supervise frontend staff to ensure service standards are being maintained.
• Oversee register coverage and store supply usage.
• Provide refunds and monitor cash drawer amounts.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and addressing any issues.
• Understand, train and promote company programs and initiatives (Pro, RPP, financing, survey, fundraising).
• Train and mentor new associates.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
