Job summary

TORBAY FUN FOODS LTD in St. John’s, NL is seeking a self-motivated Server – food and beverage services with strong interpersonal skills to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

The successful candidate will take orders, present menus, handle payments, describe daily specials, greet customers, and ensure clean dining areas while following health and safety regulations. CPR and Smart Serve are required; fluent English; 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• College or CEGEP qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in similar industry.
• CPR Certificate and Smart Serve License.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
• Describe menu items and daily specials to customers.

• Ensure accuracy when entering orders into POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in dining area.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist guests with special needs and monitor portion control.
