Job summary

Milton Fire & Rescue Services is accepting applications for Part-time Firefighter roles in Milton. The on-call position pays $23.96 per hour and includes benefits such as an Employee Assistance Program and optional OMERS pension participation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a wide range of emergency incidents to rescue, protect and preserve lives and property.
• Confine, control and extinguish fires; search, rescue, evacuation; exposure protection.
• Provide emergency medical care including patient assessments, CPR/defibrillation, and transport preparation.
• Drive and operate fire apparatus and support vehicles.
• Perform equipment inspection and station maintenance.
• Deliver public fire safety education and participate in community events.
• Attend training and comply with health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
