Job summary

The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking a Regular Part Time Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs and minor construction across the facility and grounds at 960 Notre Dame Ave. Under the supervision of the Manager of Physical Services, you will help ensure safety, security, and reliable operations.

Requirements include Secondary School diploma, at least two years of related institutional maintenance experience, basic computer literacy, English proficiency, and a valid

Qualifications

• Must have a Secondary School education (Grade XII).
• Minimum of two years of directly related institutional building maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs and minor construction in buildings and grounds.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program and update maintenance software.Perform cable television service maintenance within the facility.
• Assist tradespersons on specialized tasks.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and proper tool storage.
• Ensure safety and security of the facility, including daily access control.
