The City of Timmins is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Person II to support the Facility Services Supervisor in performing a range of maintenance tasks for Golden Manor. The role involves receiving materials, handling supplies, snow removal, grounds upkeep, and basic CMMS work while complying with long-term care regulations.

Minimum Grade 12, a valid G-class driver’s license, and hands-on maintenance experience are required.

Formación

• Grade 12 education or equivalency is required.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License, Class G.
• Hands-on work experience.
• Ability to operate grounds keeping equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to comply with infection prevention and control measures for long-term care.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Responsabilidades

• Support the care team in providing safe resident centered care within the scope of practice.
• Receive materials, goods, supplies, & equipment;
• Deliver supplies, stocks inventories, maintain stock rooms;
• Remove and dispose of garbage and recycling materials from all departments daily;
• Snow removal of exit doors, sidewalks, walkways, sanding and salt applications;
• Grounds keeping and exterior facility upkeep;
• Maintain up to date records of work performed including logging water temperatures, inventories and policy records;
• Complete Maintenance work requests (CMMS) including troubleshooting and repairing minor faults;
• Participate in City of Timmins Continuous Improvement Program;
• Maintain compliance with the Fixing Long-term Care Homes Act, 2021;
• Other duties as assigned.
