Job summary

Oxford International Vancouver Centre is seeking an enthusiastic ESL Teacher to help adult learners improve their English and achieve their academic and professional goals. This part-time role focuses on engaging lessons, progress tracking, and supportive tutoring in a dynamic center setting.

You will plan weekly lessons, manage VLC records, supervise classes, and contribute to curriculum development under the Academic Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and TESL/CELTA certification required.
• Proven experience teaching English as a Second Language to adult learners.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Teach English as a Second Language to adult learners.
• Prepare weekly lesson plans and record progress on VLC.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and class binders.
• Conduct tests, evaluations, and progress reports as required.
• Participate in staff meetings and curriculum development.
