Job summary

Oxford Learning Meadowvale in Mississauga is seeking a Part-Time Elementary Teacher/Tutor to work with up to three students after school. The role is in-person with evening and Saturday hours, and requires commuting to the Mississauga location.

You will follow Oxford Learning’s methodologies, complete post-lesson notes and daily updates, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor. Current students: Kindergarten to Grade 8 scope; Bachelor’s degree pursued, teaching certification an asset;

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Good knowledge of the Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
• Some experience teaching or tutoring students K-8.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask and work with up to three students at once.

Part-Time Elementary Teacher/Tutor

Position located at Oxford Learning Mississauga Meadowvale, Mississauga, Ontario.

Hours: Mon–Thu 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm; Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Commitment through the end of the school year; optional summer extension. In‑person position requiring a commuter to the location. Vulnerable sector screening mandatory.
