Peace River School Division is hiring a Part-Time Educational Assistant (0.30 FTE) for École Springfield Elementary School in Peace River. The position begins October 14, 2026 and continues under CUPE Local 4839.

The successful candidate will work with a student in the PUF program and support classroom programming. Qualifications include an Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent, with experience in school settings.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent is required.
• Experience and/or training working with a student in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to work with children of varied ages, skills levels, needs and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with a student in the PUF program.
• Be part of a learning team and take direction from teachers.
• Attend training and professional development opportunities on individual learning needs.
• Maintain records and organize programming to support student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement programs and modifications.
