Job summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach TEACH ACROSS INTER SEN CUR in PED 3155 at the Main Campus. The successful candidate will integrate theory and practice for middle and secondary levels, aligned with Ontario Curriculum and Ontario College of Teachers standards.

Eligibility includes a Masters in Education, Ontario teaching qualifications, and recent school-based experience. The appointment is on a regular part-time basis with a 39-hour work week expectation.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in education required.
• Qualification in a field related to teaching in schools in Ontario required.
• Recent experience in teaching in a school or in administration of a school board at the Primary Junior level required.
• Knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum and Ontario College of Teachers Standards required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and teach PED 3155 course as scheduled.
• Contribute to departmental teaching activities and supervision as appropriate.

Education

Masters degree in education
