Job summary

Oxford Learning Niagara Falls is seeking an Education Coordinator and Teacher for an in-person, part-time role. You will work with centre staff, teachers, parents, and students to deliver Oxford Learning programs and a positive learning environment.

The role emphasizes scheduling, assessments, student programs, and maintaining the Oxford Learning philosophy across the centre, while providing strong math support and parent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum university degree
• Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset
• Additional language(s) spoken is an asset
• Work in an educational environment dealing with student bodies
• Experience in a business environment is an asset
• Experience with billing cycles required
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, online communication apps)
• Strong phone skills and experience in customer service (experience in sales is preferred)

Responsibilities

• Help inform inquiring parents about Oxford Learning programs
• Organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers
• Set up and administer assessments
• Establish and oversee student learning programs
• Liaise with schools, sports teams, and local businesses
• Maintain contact with parents and discuss child progress
• Ensure the Oxford Learning philosophy is maintained at the centre
• Create a fun and energetic learning environment daily
• Coach other teaching members of the team
• Teach elementary school age children
