The YMCA of Three Rivers invites applications for the Early Years Educator - Part Time School Age (RECE, EYE) position in Stratford-Perth. This 10-month role with split shifts supports children aged 0-12 and implements our Playing to Learn and Place to Connect curriculums.

You will plan and run child-centered activities, document learning, and engage families. Starting rates are $24.00 (RECE) and $28.00 (EYE) per hour, with provincial funding included.

Qualificações

• Relevant experience with young children or in a child-care setting.
• First Aid & CPR Level C certification.
• Ability to meet immunization requirements as per Public Health.
• Legal right to work in Canada.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality compassionate care and support to children and families.
• Build positive relationships with children and communicate progress to parents.
• Be an active play partner; make learning fun.
• Ensure supervision and safety; follow policies and procedures.
• Observe and document children’s learning and development.
• Assist with diapering and toileting as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of spaces and equipment; follow health protocols.
• Attend training and maintain required certifications.
