YMCA of Southwestern Ontario in Lucan, Ontario is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator for a full-time contract. The role focuses on delivering a child-centered program under the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum for 0–6 year olds, while ensuring safety and building a supportive environment for children and families.

The position requires an ECE credential, CECE registration, up-to-date first aid, immunizations, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Formación

• An Early Childhood Educator Diploma or related degree
• Registered with the CECE or in process and in good standing
• Graduates in related field must be members of their associations as required
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification or training planned within 3 months
• Minimum age 18 to obtain Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check
• Up-to-date immunizations required by public health, education and YMCA
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and perform light to medium physical effort
• Legally entitled to work in Canada

• Plan and deliver a child-centered program using the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum (0–6 years)
• Provide quality, compassionate care to children and families
• Ensure supervision and safety of children at all times; comply with provincial and YMCA policies
