PepsiCo Foods Canada has part-time openings in the Frito Lay Distribution Center for a LASR Driver.
Flexibility in scheduling is a key requirement for this position. Under supervision, performs warehouse duties involved in preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection following pre-printed pick sheets. Ability to deliver business results by meeting and exceeding target goals. Sort, tie and stack cardboard, as well as conduct physical inventories as required. Deployed on a day-to-day, routine basis against all facets of warehouse operations; in addition, incumbents must demonstrate high levels of performance against these tasks.


Responsibilities

• Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to
ensure proper and safe handling conditions
• Safely transporting product to and from a specified location, in a pre-determined sequence
• Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery
• Loading and unloading product to and from box trucks
• Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs,Signature of Receipts, etc.)
• Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other return items
• Interacting with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel on a daily basis


Qualifications

• Valid G Class Drivers License
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Experience with a 5-ton vehicle considered an
asset
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal
communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision
• Ability to complete routes safely in all weather
conditions
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations
