Qualifications

• Must have current Safe Food Handler's Certificate.
• Familiar with proper food service procedures.
• Ability to operate institutional cooking equipment (e.g., dishwasher, conveyor toaster, meat-slicer).
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper food handling techniques.
• Date, label, and store food properly.
• Keep work area clean and uncluttered; complete cleaning duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors in food prep, dish area, and storage spaces.
• Assist in meals preparation and serving per residents' diets and preferences.
• Take orders for menu choices from residents and note preferences.
• Set and clear dining tables; sanitize tables, chairs, and serveries.
• Other duties as assigned.
