Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide at one of its Ontario communities. The role supports residents by preparing and serving meals according to dietary plans, with a scheduled shift from 6:15am to 2:15pm.

The position offers a starting wage of $19.20 per hour, in line with the collective agreement. Applicants must hold a current Safe Food Handler’s Certificate, have clear English communication, and be able to comply with infection control and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Safe Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Familiar with proper food service procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper food handling techniques.
• Label and date food and store properly.
• Keep the work area clean and perform scheduled cleaning.
• Maintain floors in food prep, dish room, and storage areas.
• Assist in preparing meals and serving per residents' diets.
• Take orders for residents' menu choices.
• Set and clear tables and sanitize dining areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
