Housing Information Services seeks a Client Support Worker (CSW) for the Homelessness and Housing Help Hub in Windsor. The role is part-time, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with weekend and holiday flexibility.

Provides safety monitoring, client rapport, and connections to housing and support services within the H4 program. Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, basic needs support, and trauma-informed responses during incidents.

Qualificações

• Post-secondary education in Social Work or Social Science or relevant college diploma, or 1–2 years of recent experience with vulnerable populations.
• Experience working with vulnerable/low-income/marginalized individuals preferred.
• Criminal reference checks and CPR/First Aid certifications required; NVCI/ASIST/Mental Health First Aid certification an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor program safety through regular perimeter walks and space-balance; log concerns.
• Welcome participants, build rapport, and connect them to supports and resources.
• Assist with day-to-day program operations: break coverage, sorting donations, and sanitizing high-touch areas.
• Provide basic needs support (food and clothing) and trauma-informed responses during incidents.
