Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a part-time cleaning technician in the Fredericton area. The role requires reliable transportation to job sites, and a flexible schedule with evening and weekend shifts. Ideal candidates are energetic, able to work independently or with others, and prepared to undergo background checks.

The position offers a 11-hour workweek with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour. Duties include building cleaning, disinfecting touch points, vacuuming, dusting, and general cleaning

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation to the jobsite.
• Reliable and flexible with hours; able to stay late or come early.
• Experience in janitorial work is an asset but not required.
• Able to communicate in English, work independently or with others.
• Able to pass a police background check and clear security as required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors.
• Disinfect touch points and clean washrooms.
• Vacuum, dust, and perform general cleaning duties; garbage removal.
• Help coworkers and follow supervisor directions.

Part Time Cleaning

We are currently looking for a cleaning technician in Fredericton area that can work in a fast-paced environment that have their own means of transportation to and from job sites all located in Fredericton.

Shifts

• Wednesday’s – 7:00pm – 12:30am
• Sunday’s – 3:00pm – 8:30pm (an additional 4 hrs could be added to this prior to for the right applicant)
• 11 hours per week
• Potential to add more hours

The successful candidates are required to have the following:

• - Have a valid driver’s license & transportation to/from the jobsite.
• - Reliability is key to being the successful candidate.
• - Experience in Janitorial work would be considered an asset, but not necessary.
• - Be flexible with hours, willing to stay late/come early if required.
• - Able to work independently & around people
• - Be able to provide a police background check and willing to complete security clearances as required.
• - Able to take direction well, and able to work independently.
• - Able to communicate in English both verbally and written.
• - Be able to work various locations throughout the city
• - Be energetic and able to perform duties within time frames
• - Have an eye for detail cleaning

Job Duties would include but not limited to.

Building Cleaning.

• - Sweeping/Mopping
• - Disinfecting touch points
• - Vacuuming
• - Cleaning/disinfecting washrooms
• - Dusting
• - General cleaning duties
• - Garbage removal
• - This job has physical demands, such as bending, lifting, kneeling, reaching, etc.
• - And more as directed by supervisors.
• - Helping co-workers

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
