Job summary

National Diabetes Trust is seeking a part-time Donor Pickup Driver to drive established routes, collect donated clothing and household items, and deliver to partner sites. The role supports the organization's charitable mission across communities in Canada.

The position requires adherence to safety rules, completion of daily paperwork, and coordination with dispatch to maintain efficient routes. Work is up to 29 hours per week with a flexible schedule aligned to operational needs.

Qualifications

• Must understand and promote the mission to the public and volunteers.
• Thorough knowledge of organization goals, services, and structure.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with laws and safety standards.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Drive established routes to collect donated clothing and household items.
• Deliver items to corporate partners and storage facilities.
• Complete daily paperwork and Hours-of-Service logs.
• Log all pickups and unload merchandise as instructed.
• Return equipment to the office and report route discrepancies.
