Shepherd Village is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Part-Time Casual Receptionist. The hours worked will primarily be on weekends.
Unscheduled part-time employees must be available for a minimum of four (4) shifts per month, two (2) of which must be on weekends.
Reporting to the Administrative Services Supervisor and Spiritual Life Facilitator. Proactively and warmly greets all residents, visitors and staff either on the telephone or in person. Provides calm customer service assistance answering a variety of inquiries and directing people to the correct staff member or seeking immediate assistance for the customer. You will perform a variety of administrative functions after assisting the immediate customer. Ensures residents receive excellent care and services including those with memory impairment/dementia. You will do this by increasing their comfort, independence and control in their lives and their involvement in all decisions. You will support their families’ and the community’s involvement in their lives. You will positively influence and motivate everyone that comes your way.
