Job summary

Laline Canada is seeking a Part-Time Team Lead to drive sales, lead a small team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor. You will balance coaching with hands-on selling and manage MOD responsibilities during shifts.

The role requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with responsibility for visual standards and store leadership support. Prior supervisory retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or key-holder experience in a retail environment (beauty or specialty retail preferred).
• Proven ability to drive sales and lead by example.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and support a team.
• Comfortable making decisions and resolving conflict in a team environment.
• Ability to analyze sales results and react to business needs.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and ensure consistently elevated, personalized customer experiences aligned with the Laline brand
• Drive personal sales performance while coaching associates to meet and exceed goals
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) during assigned shifts
• Train, motivate, and support associates in selling techniques and customer engagement
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of Laline products, ingredients, brand story, and company policies
• Assist customers with product recommendations and self-care routines
• Support store leadership in onboarding and training new associates
• Help resolve customer concerns in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager
• Communicate individual and team performance feedback to store leadership
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Assist with scheduling coverage needs, breaks, and maintaining selling focus on the floor
• Perform opening and closing duties as required
• Support merchandising, visual standards, floor sets, and product replenishment
• Execute POS transactions and management functions when acting as MOD
