Job summary

Dollar Tree Canada is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and support the Store Manager.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and a customer‑oriented approach. You will participate in staff training, merchandising maintenance, payroll and scheduling, and ensure safety and standards.

Qualifications

• Retail store management experience preferred in grocery, drug, or retail settings.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Help merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing store associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and team.
