Job summary

Cineplex Inc. in Calgary is seeking an energetic Hourly Player, Front of House to enhance guest experiences and foster a fun, welcoming environment. You will engage guests, upsell games and maintain clean stations, ensuring smooth operation of activities and events.

Qualifications

• Some customer service experience preferred

• Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate

Responsibilities

• Upsell games by showing guests game operations and encouraging play
• Keep games and stations clean, well-maintained and operational; assist with restocking the store
• Act as a resource for guest inquiries and understand pricing for events and promotions

What you will do:

• Upselling games by showing guests game operations, encouraging guests to play and creating an overall fun, playful environment for them.
• Ensuring both games and individual stations are clean, well-maintained and fully operational and assisting with restocking the Store.
• Being a trusted resource for guests’ inquiries and concerns and have a working knowledge of the venue’s pricing for special events, promotions and daily events.

Qualifications:

• For licensed venues, candidates must be the required age of majority or older
• You preferably have some experience with customer service
• You can complete tasks with attention to detail
• You have strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
