Job summary

Cineplex in Calgary is hiring an Hourly Player, Front of House to deliver an exceptional entertainment experience. You will operate all major attractions, be an expert on gaming within the venue, and help curate the gaming experience for both experienced and non-experienced guests in a fast-paced, social setting.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age for licensed venues.
• Preferably some customer service experience.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Provincially applicable alcohol server certificate.

Responsibilities

• Upsell games by showing guests game operations and creating a fun environment.
• Ensure games and stations are clean, maintained, and restocked as needed.
• Answer guest inquiries and know pricing for events, promotions and daily events.

What you will do:

Hourly Player, Front of House

Our Player, Front of House are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional entertainment experience to each and every guest. The Player, Front of House operates all major attractions and is an expert on gaming within the facility and can help answer and/or curate the gaming experience for both experienced and non-experienced gamers. If you thrive in an energetic, fast-paced and social atmosphere, this may be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

• Upselling games by showing guests game operations, encouraging guests to play and creating an overall fun, playful environment for them.
• Ensuring both games and individual stations are clean, well-maintained and fully operational and assisting with restocking the Store.
• Being a trusted resource for guests' inquiries and concerns and have a working knowledge of the venue's pricing for special events, promotions and daily events.

Qualifications

• For licensed venues, candidates must be the required age of majority or older
• You preferably have some experience with customer service
• You can complete tasks with attention to detail
• You have strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
