Job summary

Oxford Learning Aurora is seeking a part-time Elementary English and Math Teacher/Tutor to support after-school sessions in our Aurora learning centre. The position requires working 3:00pm–8:00pm and guiding up to three students at a time with pre-planned lessons and full training in our proprietary methods.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or related certification; teaching certification is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• Teaching certification is an asset.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Teaching online and in-person.
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Filling in post-lesson notes.
• Completing daily student communication updates.
