The Municipality of Middlesex Centre is seeking a dedicated Manager of Parks and Facilities to lead day-to-day operations across facilities and parks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will guide capital projects, asset management, and service delivery in a collaborative department.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Recreation & Leisure Administration and/or Facility/Park Operations, or equivalent.
• Completion or willingness to obtain ORFA certification; CIT/CRFP or other.
• Minimum 5–7 years in recreation/facility/park operations with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations, maintenance, and supervision of arenas, fire halls, community centres and parks.
• Develops operational policies and procedures for facilities and parks.
• Leads safety compliance with OHSA, Fire Code, Building Code and related legislation.
• Prepares tenders and coordinates procurement for equipment and services.
• Manages staff performance, scheduling, and contractor relationships.
