Job summary

Temple Gardens Centre is seeking a casual part-time Parking Lot Security Attendant to join our security team in Moose Jaw. The role pays an hourly CAD 15.50–16.00; benefits include pension matching. This position remains open until October 16, 2026.

You will secure venue entrances, monitor parking lots, assist guests, perform bag checks where applicable, and maintain a detailed security logbook. Flexible hours include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous security services experience would be an asset.
• Prior parking experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors with extreme heat and varying weather conditions is a must.
• Able to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.
• Current CPR and first aid certificates preferred.
• Exceptional problem‑solving, judgment, and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to be assertive and influential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Courteous and professional manner.
• Strong team player.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours as required by event schedule: days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Provide guests with directions and other venue information.

• Performs bag checks and inspections where applicable.
• Ensures all public areas are a safe environment for patrons.
• Maintains a comprehensive security logbook.
• Submits fully detailed incident reports for all incidents.
• Enhances customer service.
