Job summary

Commissionaires in Burlington is seeking security personnel to interact with the public and issue legal tickets using handheld devices. The position requires a Provincial Security Guard License and First Aid certification, plus a clean driving record for city vehicle use. Outdoor duties persist in all weather with various shifts.

Openings include full-time, part-time, and permanent roles. Overtime, milestones rewards, and benefits support are offered; residents of Canada preferred.

Qualifications

• Must obtain/possess Provincial Security Guard License and First Aid certification.
• Clean Driver's Abstract required to operate City of Burlington vehicles.
• Experience with hand-held electronics to issue legal ticket notices.
• Graduate of Police Foundations is preferred but not mandatory.

Applicants must be in possession of, or be willing to obtain, a valid Provincial Security Guard License and current First Aid certification as condition of employment.

Applicants must have a clean Driver's Abstract in order to use City of Burlington vehicles in the performance of their duties.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to work outdoors regardless of weather

Skill Requirement: Must be able to work with hand-held electronics in order to write legal ticket notice.

Graduate of Police Foundations is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $19.12 per hour
