Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-secondary college education with a focus on leadership, logistics or supply chain.
• 5 years of management experience in a DC/logistics environment.
• Experience managing projects with short to medium-term focus.
• Knowledge ofEmployment Standards, WCB, Health & Safety and Loss Prevention practices.
• Strong leadership and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse operations and supervise staff to meet goals for quality and service.
• Plan staffing levels based on forecasts and management input.
• Ensure procedures for receiving, sorting, inventory accuracy and safety programs are followed.
• Drive cost-effective operations and pursue continuous improvement using lean principles.
• Coach and develop personnel through formal training and feedback.
• Maintain compliance with Health Canada regulations and other client requirements.
