Job summary

Ambulance New Brunswick is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic for the Patient Transfer Unit in Shediac, NB. The role involves providing on-scene and transport medical support with emphasis on patient safety, adherence to NOCP, and coordination with dispatch and hospital teams.

Applicants must be enrolled or licensed as PCP in NB, hold PANB registration, and possess a NB Class 4 licence. A current resume, immunizations, and criminal record check are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Primary Care Paramedic program.
• Must be registered with the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick (PANB).
• Must hold a valid New Brunswick Class 4 Driver's Licence (or equivalent).
• Current resume and cover letter must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical support on scene and en route to hospital.
• Perform emergency techniques and medical treatments as required.
• Coordinate with dispatch and hospital staff to ensure safe patient transfer.
