Job summary

Ambulance New Brunswick in Chipman, NB is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic to join our team on a part-time permanent basis. You will respond to 911 calls, provide high-level paramedic care on scene and during transport, and coordinate with receiving hospital staff.

Applicants must be an active PANB member, hold a valid NB Class 4 licence, and demonstrate bilingual abilities (English and French). This position supports the province's EMS system with professional, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must be registered, active Paramedic with the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick.
• Must have a valid New Brunswick Class 4 Driver's Licence.
• Primary Care Paramedic program/course of over six months.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or work permit).
• Must be able to work all shifts and maintain good attendance.
• Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 30 days.
• Immunization requirements (as specified) and language assessments for bilingual capability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to 911 calls and provide on-scene and en-route paramedic care.
• Serve as first-on-scene responder and coordinate with hospital teams.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety at all times.
