Job summary

Ambulance New Brunswick provides essential emergency services across the province. Primary Care Paramedics in the Patient Transfer Unit support patient movement between facilities, both on scene and during transport, under demanding conditions.

The role requires completion of PCP training, PANB registration, and a valid NB Class 4 driver's licence, with comprehensive immunization and background checks. We operate with rotating shifts and a strong commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in Canada (citizenship, permanent resident, or work permit).
• Ability to work all shifts as assigned and maintain good attendance.
• Strong emphasis on patient safety and confidentiality.
• Completed PCP program/certificate; PANB registration preferred.
• Valid New Brunswick Class 4 Driver's Licence (or equivalent).
• Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical support on scene and en route to hospitals as needed.
• Respond to calls via 911 and assist with patient transfer and transport.
• Adhere to standardized selection and qualification processes as required by ANB.
• Maintain immunization records and up-to-date CPR certifications as required.
