About This Role:
As a Paralegal on the Property team you’ll play a crucial role in client service and practice management. Bring your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach to help our team deliver excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage client intake, conduct conflict searches, and open new files.
-Schedule meetings and manage the lawyer’s calendar.
-Set court dates, track filing deadlines, and prepare client documents.
-Draft routine correspondence and organize client report books.
-Maintain electronic and paper files, handle mail, and coordinate document processing.
-Conduct property searches, manage tax certificates and payments, and organize mortgage payouts.
-Process wire transfers and manage financial requests.
-Assisting other Property team members as needed.

What You Bring:
-Experience: Graduate of a Legal Assistant or Paralegal program with 4-5 years of experience preferred.
-Skills: Strong attention to detail, proofreading, communication, and time management skills.
-Mindset: A team player with a positive approach, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
-Tech Proficiency: Adept at using technology such as Outlook and Microsoft Office, with a talent for learning new software quickly. Familiarity with PropertyOnline and/or ProLaw is a bonus.
