triOS College in Peel Region seeks a Paralegal Program Coordinator to lead accreditation, curriculum alignment with the Law Society of Ontario, and program delivery across campuses.

In this hybrid, part-time role, you will support faculty, coordinate audits, manage scheduling for morning and evening cohorts, and partner with Admissions, Career Services, and Operations to ensure student success and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a discipline related to the faculty.
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or a diploma in Paralegal studies.
  • Licensed Paralegal or Lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Degree, diploma or certificate in education from an accredited or designated educational institution.
  • At least three years of practice experience in Ontario as a lawyer or paralegal.
  • At least 3 years or more years of Teaching Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and use of the Internet.
  • Understanding of Adult Learning Principles required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Paralegal program accreditation process for your assigned campuses. Includes acting as the primary liaison with the LSO; updating curriculum; preparing for and participating in program audits conducted by the LSO; and other responsibilities as required.
  • Monitor and oversee the delivery of the Paralegal program ensuring that it meets and maintains the accreditation standards as outlined by the LSO.
  • Act as an advisor to the college working with the various departments on issues related to the development, and delivery of the Paralegal program to ensure program goals and objectives are met.
  • Work with the team responsible for campus operations to ensure that a licensed instructor is present in class to teach mandatory courses.
  • Coordinate and lead regular faculty meetings to provide program updates where necessary as they relate to the accreditation standards, as well as to discuss classroom management issues and best practices in instructional strategies.
  • Conduct periodic classroom observations with appropriate supporting documentation that such observations were conducted.
  • Oversight of the curriculum and assessments to ensure that they are current and valid.
  • Support Career Services with the oversight of the field placement for the program, liaising where needed with respective Employment Specialists to ensure that prospective placement hosts have been checked for their appropriateness as hosts.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the program curriculum as approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the program scheduling summary and related merge models which define what must be taught and the rules of their delivery order.
  • Develop Instructional Materials - Instructor Guides & Evaluation Tools (quizzes, tests, exams, and answer keys) in conjunction with the Academic Services team when needed. If applicable to the program, evaluate, select, and learn how related software and equipment works. Be a subject matter expert for other faculty regarding the use of such software and equipment.
  • Consult with Campus Directors on the screening and hiring (program specific) of new faculty (staff and contractors).
  • Provide support for new instructor orientation, which may include a discussion of the format and layout of all courses in their respective program, explanation of what instructional materials exist and where they are found

Hours:

Part-time. This position guarantees a minimum of 20 hours per week, with additional hours scheduled as required based on program and operational needs. The Program Coordinator must have sufficient scheduling flexibility to provide support to both morning and evening cohorts, including faculty and program-related needs across both delivery perios.

Compensation:

$38/hr - $40/hr

The Opportunity:

The Program Coordinator provides academic and program leadership to help ensure the Paralegal program is delivered consistently, effectively, and in compliance with College requirements and the Law Society of Ontario's accreditation standards and requirements. They support faculty through onboarding, guidance, ongoing communication, and program-specific expertise; contribute to curriculum review and improvement to ensure content remains current, relevant, and aligned with regulatory and industry expectations; and work closely with Operations to support effective program delivery and resolve program-related concerns. The Program Coordinator also collaborates with Admissions and Marketing to ensure program information is accurate and appropriately communicated to prospective students, and with Career Services to strengthen alignment between curriculum, field placement, workplace expectations, and employment outcomes. Through cross-functional collaboration, the Program Coordinator helps support overall program quality, student success, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you bring to the position:
