Job summary

CIMCO is seeking a Panel Wiring Technician for our Burlington facility. This unionized, full-time role features rotating shifts (Days and Afternoons) and requires reading schematics, wiring panels, and installing control systems. You will test panels, collaborate with CAD/engineering, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, post-secondary education in a related field is a plus, and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs as needed for shop and field tasks.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in related field is an asset.
• Three or more years of experience required.
• Physical conditioning for shop and field work; ability to lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and troubleshoot electrical schematics, wire diagrams, 1-line and 3-line diagrams.
• Maintain neat work environment and handle equipment carefully.
• Install electrical control systems, industrial automation systems, or electrical equipment.
• Set up testing of panels and relevant equipment.
• Diagnose, test, or analyze performance of components or systems.
• Work with engineering staff/CAD to complete projects on schedule.
