SFC Energy Ltd. in Calgary is seeking a skilled Panel Assembler for a 6-month contract to support our growing production of advanced electrical equipment. You will work hands-on within a collaborative team to assemble and test panels that power industrial systems.

Engage with both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, follow schematics, and maintain precise documentation while ensuring safety standards and quality throughout the production process.

• Experience in mechanical and electrical panel assembly.
• Knowledge of power tools used for modifying steel enclosures.
• Aptitude for following electrical schematics and wire schedules.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and safe work procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assembles quality integrated electrical equipment with the project team.
• Maintains accurate production and assembly documentation.
• Inspects assemblies for compliance with drawings and customer requirements.
• Supports quality control and testing during production.
• Builds and integrates industrial control panels for various applications.
• Works with VFDs, SCADA/RTU systems, and SFC EFOY fuel cell systems.

What We Expect?

• We expect you to have experience in both Mechanical and Electrical Panel Assembly, including knowledge of installing and securing equipment based on dimensional drawings.


• Knowledge of the use of power tools (drills, chop saws, jigsaws, knockout cutters) used for modifying steel enclosures is considered an asset.


• Aptitude for following electrical schematics and wire schedules to route, tag, and terminate interconnection points for power/control wiring will help with your seamless integration into this role.


• Understanding of electrical safety standards and safe work procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working within the project team to assemble quality integrated electrical equipment for our customer base.


• Maintain accurate production and assembly documentation.


• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings and customer requirements.


• Support quality control and testing activities during production.


• Building and integrating industrial control panels for various applications.
