Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Pointe-Claire is looking for a Painter / Workshop worker to perform various painting operations, including preparation, masking, and cleaning. The candidate should have at least 6 months of experience in an industrial paint shop and a DEP in bodyworks or AEP in industrial painting. Responsibilities include painting components, surface preparation, and maintaining equipment. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Paint fabricated components and equipment with an air-assisted spray gun.
  • Surface preparation by cleaning, washing, sanding, masking, etc.
  • Select appropriate paint type or mixture according to pre-determined specifications.
  • Clean and maintain painting, ventilation, and personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain paint inventories.
  • Manual scrubbing using wire brushes or abrasive pads to remove stubborn grime, carbon deposits, or other residues from blower parts.
  • Execute various related tasks such as receiving and shipping preparation.
  • Operate a forklift.

Skills

Proficiency with technical machinery and lifting equipment

Job Overview

Additional tasks may involve parts finishing, pre-shipping material preparation and packaging.
