Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Electromechanical Service Technician at our Pointe-Claire, Quebec location. You will install, maintain, repair, and diagnose industrial rotating equipment such as motors, blowers, pumps, compressors, and related systems.

The role includes preventive/corrective maintenance, vibration analysis, and contributing to equipment reliability improvements, with a strong focus on safety and collaboration with production and engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • DEP in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or equivalent.
  • 2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with multimeter, vibration analyzer, and tachometer.
  • Experience with laser alignment is an asset.
  • Good physical condition and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

L’Électromécanicien spécialisé en machines rotatives est responsable de l’installation, l’entretien, la réparation et le diagnostic d’équipements tels que moteurs électriques, soufflantes, pompes, ventilateurs, compresseurs et autres systèmes rotatifs industriels.

Il effectue également la maintenance préventive et corrective, l’analyse vibratoire et contribue à l’amélioration de la fiabilité des équipements.

Responsabilités
  • Installer, inspecter et réparer les équipements électromécaniques.
  • Effectuer l’entretien préventif et correctif des machines rotatives.
  • Effectuer des diagnostics de défaillance mécaniques, électriques, hydrauliques et pneumatiques.
  • Réaliser l’alignement laser ou au comparateur.
  • Lire et interpréter des plans mécaniques et schémas électriques.
  • Assurer les tests de fonctionnement après réparation.
  • Rédiger des rapports de maintenance et de service.
  • Respecter les normes de santé et de sécurité au travail.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de production et d’ingénierie.
  • Utiliser des équipements de levage pour manipuler des pièces lourdes.
Compétences et exigences
  • DEP en électromécanique, Mécanique industrielle, ou diplôme équivalent.
  • 2 à 5 ans d’expérience en maintenance industrielle (atout).
  • Excellentes compétences en dépannage mécanique et électrique.
  • Maîtrise des outils comme multimètre, analyseur de vibrations, tachymètre.
  • Expérience en alignement laser (atout).
  • Bonne condition physique
  • Compétences informatiques de base (Microsoft Office).

Job Overview

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, PLC diagrams, work instructions, safety instructions, operates forklift and overhead crane.
  • Have demonstrated crane and rigging experience, knowledge of rigging and lifting equipment as well as parts that do not have a center of gravity that are easily identified.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • courses completed (Mechanical, Pneumatics, PLC, Hydraulics, is a plus).
  • Experience substituted for education.
