Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in Dartmouth, NS is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver fast, friendly service and actively assist customers with their projects. You’ll use product knowledge to answer questions, explore solutions, and guide shoppers to the right items while maintaining store standards.

In this role you greet customers, ask open-ended questions, and promote services such as tool rental and professional desk support, all while keeping shelves stocked and the store clean in a busy retail

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 to 2 years Retail or Trade experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Customer Satisfaction by greeting, engaging, and thanking customers.
• Actively seek customers throughout the store and escort to appropriate merchandise.
• Ask open ended questions about customers' projects to determine needs and level of expertise.
• Promote services offered such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, Pro Services, etc.
• Execute daily stock maintenance: all products signed, displayed, and clean.
