Job summary

Mitchell Plastics in Kitchener, Ontario is seeking an Account / Sales Manager to provide inside sales and customer support, assist with quotations, and coordinate with sales, program management, engineering, and plant teams to drive business growth on-site at our corporate office. The role requires strong communication, coordination, and teamwork, with a focus on maintaining production flow and customer satisfaction.

7 a.m.–3 p.m.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Paint experience will be a asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for painters during breaks and lunches to maintain production flow.
• Train and support painters on proper painting techniques, spray patterns, and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate completion of paint documentation, including lot numbers, viscosity, and required quality records.
• Monitor paint quality, complete spray-outs and inspections, and conduct paint trials for new programs.
• Coordinate program changes and communicate responsibilities to ensure smooth production transitions.
• Maintain paint equipment, tools, preventative maintenance schedules, and paint kitchen organization.
• Monitor paint inventory, minimize paint waste, and ensure paint is prepared for the incoming shift.
• Promote continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and consistent product quality.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, environmental procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready work area at all times.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address issues, resolve problems, and support production goals.
• Lead by example by promoting teamwork, accountability, punctuality, and pride in workmanship
